1. Thai Restaurant Frankfurt: Aroydee
The Thai restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt, which looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, is often full. As soon as you enter Aroydee, you get the feeling that you have arrived in a Thai cookshop. Customers love the variety of dishes presented on a Thai-German menu.
The original Thai menu also includes dishes such as Pad Pak Bung Faidaeng (fried water spinach with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and chili) or Mango Sticky Rice (sticky rice with coconut milk and ripe mango), which is so popular as a dessert on vacation. Also noteworthy is the extensive vegan menu, where the meat in classic Thai dishes has been replaced by tofu duck.
The dishes taste authentic and are quickly served – this is well received in Frankfurt, with over 1,200 Google reviewers rating the Frankfurt Thai restaurant 4.3 out of 5 stars.
There are two Aroydee restaurants in Frankfurt: the first Thai restaurant is located at Stiftstraße 34 (Tel.: 069 29 72 36 36), the second at Hanauer Landstr. 72 (069 94 94 58 99). Aroydee is open Mon. – Thurs. from 11:00 – 22:00, Fri. – Sat. 11:00 – 23:00 and Sun. 14:00 – 22:00. If you want to be sure of getting a seat, it’s best to reserve a table.
2. Green Thai Frankfurt
The Green Thai restaurant on Frankfurt’s Zeil is at least as delicious, but with a more cozy, modern atmosphere. The restaurant promises to cook exclusively with fresh ingredients and to refine the dishes with authentic Thai spices and herbs.
Glutamate is not used at all in dishes such as Khow Phad Sabraros (fried rice with fresh vegetables, pineapple, curry and egg, seasoned with spicy soy sauce). Guests are delighted with the friendly service and the speedy preparation of the dishes.
The price-performance ratio is also well received by customers. One reviewer on Google Maps writes: “Very authentic taste. Food arrived quickly and the selection is large. Modern decor with Thai accents. Prices are okay as the portions are very generous. Highly recommended!” and rates the Thai Restaurant Frankfurt 5/5 stars.
Green Thai is located at Zeil 13 and is open Mon-Thu from 11 am to 2:30 pm, Fri-Sat from 11 am to 2 pm and Sun from 12 pm to 2:30 pm.

More Information4. Thai hot: Nuy’s Thai-Imbiss Pattaya
Nuy ‘s Thai Imbiss Pattaya is located in the middle of Frankfurt’s red light district. It is these small stores that have made the station district so hip in recent years. However, anyone expecting a chic Thai restaurant is sure to be disappointed. Nuy’s Thai Imbiss Pattaya has more of a kiosk character and with 15 standing places and eight seats outside, there is little capacity to linger.
However, you will be rewarded with food from what is probably the best cookshop in the city. Pattaya is also a well-known and popular meeting place for Thais living in Frankfurt. We Europeans can work up a sweat when the food is labeled “spicy”. The portions are large; no one will leave the Thai snack bar hungry.
Nuy’s Thai Imbiss Pattaya is located at Taunusstaße 17A and is open Monday to Friday from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12.00 pm to 9.00 pm. All dishes can also be taken away or delivered to the surrounding area.
