Aroydee: Authentic Thai experience in the heart of Frankfurt

Aroydee Frankfurt

The Aroydee Original Thai Kitchen restaurant is an insider tip for all lovers of Thai cuisine. At two locations in Frankfurt, guests can expect a culinary experience that is second to none. Let yourself be seduced by the exotic flavors and the variety of dishes!

Aroydee at Stiftstraße 34 is centrally located in downtown Frankfurt, just a few minutes’ walk from Eschenheimer Turm. The branch at Hanauer Landstraße 72 is located in Ostend. The scent of lemongrass, chili and coriander envelops you as soon as you enter the restaurant. The interior is rather simple, but cozy. The colorful lanterns and pictures on the walls create a pleasant Thai ambience.

Service: Fast and friendly

The service at Aroydee is quick and attentive. Despite the often busy crowds, guests are never kept waiting for long. The waiters are helpful and happy to advise guests on their choice of dishes. They are also happy to fulfill special requests.

The menu at Aroydee offers a huge selection of authentic Thai dishes. From mild curry dishes to spicy salads and crispy fried fish, there is something for every taste. Vegetarians and vegans will also find a large selection of delicious dishes.

We recommend the spicy-hot papaya salad “Som Tam” as a starter. The thinly sliced green papaya is mixed with chili, garlic, lime juice, fish sauce and peanuts to create a refreshing salad. Simply delicious!

For my main course, I had the “Gaeng Ped”, an aromatic red curry with duck, coconut milk, Thai eggplants and pineapple. The curry was wonderfully creamy and the duck was tender as butter. The spiciness was just right – fiery, but not overpowering. The fragrant fragrant rice went perfectly with it.

My companion opted for the “Gung Ob Wunsen”, grilled king prawns on a bed of glass noodles and vegetables. The prawns were perfectly grilled and the vegetables were still nice and crunchy. A poem!

Drinks: refreshing and exotic

The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to the usual soft drinks and beers, there are also authentic Thai drinks such as sweet Thai iced tea and freshly squeezed juices. Particularly refreshing is the coconut water, which is drunk straight from the shell.

Special features: lunch menus and online ordering

Also worth mentioning are the inexpensive lunch menus, which are offered during the week from 12 to 3 pm. For 10-12 euros you get a soup, a main course with rice and a drink. Perfect for your lunch break!

Another practical feature is that you can conveniently order all dishes online and then collect them from your chosen branch. This saves waiting times.

Opening hours and locations

Aroydee is open at both locations from Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm. On Sundays, you can enjoy the delicious dishes from 2 pm to 10 pm.
