As a food enthusiast, I am constantly on the lookout for authentic gastronomic experiences in Frankfurt. Today I would like to introduce you to a real treasure at Niddastrasse 96: the Peruvian restaurant Aventura.

The first impression

Various gastronomic concepts have already tried to establish themselves on the site of today’s Aventura – from the stylish Bar Nox to Café Jacobs. With the Peruvian restaurant Aventura, it is hoped that a concept has now been found that hits the nerve of the times and the guests.

You can feel the special atmosphere as soon as you enter. The modern furnishings with warm wooden elements and stylish lighting immediately create an inviting atmosphere. What immediately surprises me in a positive way: every guest receives free water on request – a gesture that is unfortunately not a matter of course in German restaurants.

Breakfast for connoisseurs

I started my day here with a hearty breakfast. The breakfast menu offers a successful mix of classic egg dishes, pancakes 🥞 and innovative dishes, such as a Bircher smoothie bowl I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the presentation – the eye is definitely feasted on here.

Lunch highlights

I was really impressed by the lunch menu. I tried the beef and chicken pan, which was served with juicy meat and crispy fresh vegetables on aromatic basmati rice. It was accompanied by a crisp, fresh salad.

My vegetarian companion raved about her quinoa salad, which impressed with a perfectly balanced combination of vegetables, creamy avocado and a fruity dressing.

The portions are reasonably large and cost 10 euros.

Sweet temptations

The absolute highlight of my visit was the selection of homemade cakes. The passion fruit cake is a successful balance of fruity-sour and sweet notes. The chocolate cherry cake was wonderfully moist, and the cheesecake could have come straight from Manhattan. You can taste that a lot of passion goes into baking here. The cakes cost €4.50.

Service with heart

What sets the Aventura apart is the dedicated team. The staff are not only exceptionally friendly, but also knowledgeable. Their authentic hospitality makes every visit a pleasant experience. Questions about the dishes are answered competently and special requests are gladly fulfilled where possible.

Conclusion

The Aventura is a real discovery for me. The overall package is just right here: the quality of the food is consistently high, the portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. I was particularly impressed by the consistency with which the food is cooked and baked here to a high standard.

My recommendation
Whether for a relaxed breakfast, a business lunch or a cozy afternoon coffee with homemade cake – the Aventura is definitely worth a visit. Its central location on Niddastrasse also makes it the perfect meeting place for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
